Programme fees and deal economics are separate. Where Zanzibaba sources, manages or converts an opportunity, sales commissions, procurement margins, referral fees or project-specific terms may apply separately and will be agreed in writing.

Are commissions included in the annual fee?

No. Annual fees cover presence and support services. Commissions or margins on converted business are separate concepts agreed per opportunity or agreement.

Do I need to open a Zanzibar company?

No. Overseas manufacturers, Tanzanian mainland suppliers and Zanzibar suppliers can all participate. Zanzibaba acts as your local commercial gateway so you do not need your own branch, staff or office to start.

Do I need employees in Zanzibar?

No. Local sales representation, enquiry handling, meetings and follow-up are part of the programme, scaled to your package.

How does Zanzibaba generate enquiries?

Through the materials marketplace, project desk, BOQ/RFQ intake, developer and contractor relationships, and category marketing. Enquiries enter Zanzibaba's system first and are routed to relevant partners.

Who receives customer enquiries?

Enquiries come to Zanzibaba first. Qualified opportunities are shared with relevant partners depending on category, programme and admin routing — direct supplier contact details are not automatically exposed publicly.

Who prepares quotations?

Depends on the agreement: Zanzibaba can coordinate quotations from your price lists, or you quote directly once an opportunity is routed to you.
